HYPERFASHUN: TIME MAGAZINE'S 100 MOST INFLUENTIAL FASHION ICONS

TIME magazine has released its first ever 100 most influential fashion icons list.

The list includes designers & brands, models, muses, photographers and editors & stylists, whose careers stretch back to 1923 when TIME launched.

That is 89 years so most definitely quite a few people you would consider as heavy weights in each of the categories were left out. I for one noticed that Roberto Cavalli's name is missing from the list as well as Tyra Banks. I particularly feel Tyra is one model that has influenced her industry and built a busines empire while at it. Oh well....

Anyway i'm glad the likes of Isabella Blow, Creative Director, Stylist and famous Philip Treacy muse ( He worked from her flat in London at a time) made the list. I see her story as quite a sad one. Fashion and life in general can be quite overwhelming and i think it took its toll on her. She's also credited for discovering Alexander McQueen

And yes one of my favourite fashion people, Grace Coddington former model and famous vogue stylist made the list as well. i love love her she's like a fashion super hero. But i think she hates bloggers though. Whatever still love her.

Sara Blakely the famous inventor of Spanx can be found on the list too as well as Michelle Obama another favourite of mine.

Of course the list couldn't have been complete without the high Priest sorry Pope of Fashion Anna Wintour.
