Warning: Picture Overload

Hi guys,

So I've been itching to do this post for sometime now and you can't imagine how giddy i am, just typing away.

The Louis Vuitton SS 13 collection is by far the most interesting thing I've seen regarding clothes for some time. It was when presented and still is to date so freaking AMAZING! Marc Jacobs killed it and if i could tuale for him i would. Lol. The checkered pieces have all my love... ah!  :)

For the benefit of those who didn't follow the shows then, the general feel of the collection was a super sophisticated-chic-retro vibe as seen in the cuts and shapes of the pieces which were styled with bee-hive up-dos, kitten heels and bow-clip headbands.

For the show, the models descended from escalators with mirrored backdrops that gave you the feel they were coming from somewhere... another planet.. into our own world to possibly add some colour and jazz up our lives. Lol At least that's how i felt... i hadn't seen anything more amazing.

Now i'm gonna add Marc Jacobs and \Louis Vuitton to my personal Designers' Hall of Fame where Alexander McQueen reigns supreme. Notice i don't refer to him in past tense...

Enjoy the photos

Marc Jacobs

An amazing collection always gets a lot of press and this is no different. I think the collection has gathered a ton of popularity. Mag covers, red Carpet appearances, editorial features etc.

 Here are my absolute favourites!

Kristen Stewart at a promo for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 in Tokyo

Anna Dello Russo during at New York fashion week

Miranda Kerr when Louis Vuitton opened a new store in Mexico

Kirsten Dunst at the Art of Elysium gala on the eve of this year’s Golden Globe Awards

Lindsey Wixson for Vogue Japan March 2013

Rihanna for the April issue of Elle UK

Taylor Swift on the March cover of Elle US.

Vogue Thailand May 2013

Andi Eigenmann for Preview magazine February 2013

I think this may be my best look. Kerry Washington kept it 100 percent retro-chic while  promoting  Django Unchained. Love it!

Hope you've enjoyed this post as much as i have. Cheers and here's to a fabulous week ahead. Muah!!

PS- I had to activate word verification in the comment section cos of the huge amount of spam comments i keep getting so pls dont vex for me.
